Punjab Police Recruitment: The Stages, in Order

Punjab Police recruitment — whether for Constable or Sub-Inspector posts — runs through several stages, and clearing the written exam is only the first of them.

The usual stages

1. Written examination — general knowledge, reasoning, Punjab GK, current affairs and numerical ability
2. Physical Standards Test (PST) — height, chest measurement and other physical criteria set for the post
3. Physical Efficiency Test (PET) — running, and other physical fitness benchmarks
4. Document verification

Exact cut-offs, timings and physical standards are set fresh in each recruitment notification and differ by category and post — treat any number you see from a previous cycle as a reference point, not a guarantee.

How we prepare students for it

Our Punjab Police course focuses on the written stage — general knowledge, reasoning, Punjabi language and current affairs — since that's the stage coaching can most directly move the needle on. We'd rather be upfront that physical preparation is outside what a classroom course covers, than imply otherwise.
